Designs from RF Technologies, Inc., solve problems inherent with On/Off or throttling control of abrasive, scaling, corrosive, slurries, sludge, liquids and powders across a wide range of service parameters:

Temperature: -45ºC/-50ºF to 148ºC/300ºF
Pressure: 0-600 psi/42 bar
PH 1-13
Throttling DP < 50 psi/3.4 bar

Valve Problems

RF VALVE® & aiRFlex®
Solutions

Conventional Pinch

Excessive stretching of the rubber sleeve or diaphragm causes more highly accelerated wear under abrasive, erosive, or high temperature and pressure conditions. Conventional pinch valves are not manufactured to standard ASME/ANSI or DIN face-to-face dimensions.

RF Solution

Non-stretch, high strength tube construction provides longer life & reliability in abrasive, erosive, corrosive or high temperature, pressure conditions. Full line of standard ASME/ANSI face-to-face dimensioned valves, providing interchangeability NOT offered by other pinch valve designs.

Ball, Plug, Gate, Butterfly, and Globe

Abrasive wear, scaling, or corrosion of rotating metal, lined surfaces, seats and seals, cause valves to jam, seize, or leak; average maintenance costs 30-70% of valve cost.

RF Solution

Elastomeric resistance to abrasive, corrosive media and self cleaning action of high strength, seamless tube provides longer life and reliability than other valves; average maintenance costs of 10-20% of valve cost.

All Valves

Difficulty in predicting and assuring reliable valve operation and shut off in abrasive, scaling, corrosive or plugging services. Higher maintenance and inventory costs associated with multiple wear components and more complicated valve designs.

RF Solution

The elastomer tube is the only component in contact with the process stream minimizing repair costs. SMART Valve™ tube wear sensor provides preventive maintenance alert and eliminates the cost of "throw-away valves". Tube can be changed in-line for maximum efficiency.

High performance analog and digital modulating valves are configured with precision products from industry leaders like Fisher-Rosemount, ABB/Bailey, Posi-Flex, Neles, Valtek, PMV, EIM, Auma, Rotork, Bernard and Limitorque, to provide the highest level of accuracy and process control available with full- and reduced-port trim designs.
