Pulp & Paper Industry Valves
The pulp & paper has many difficult applications where the pinch valve will provide long and maintenance free valve life. Applications include calcium carbonate, kaolin, calcined clays, lime, white, green liquor, and black liquor where scaling and abrasive media cause other metal and soft seated valves to regularly fail. RF Valves® Class VI shut-off even when solids or pulp are present, provides reliable shut-off for key equipment such as pumps, paper machines, clarifiers, and mixers.
Safety is also enhanced as pinch valves’ self -cleaning design, eliminates the need for cheater bars, and other tools or tactics to succeed in opening or closing valves that have seized or will not shut-off completely.
